Happy Memorial Day!!!

This is my class from A School 0612-A

This is when I was called on stage and awarded the Commanding Officer Personal Excellence Award.

These are the guys I hung out with in A-school minus the guy all the way to my right he weaseled into the picture.

This is me on the back of my favorite instructor's motorcycle, I was the first "Dude" he let on. When he told the class he had a motor cycle I asked if I could ride on the back of it, just joking around, and he said it didn't have a back seat, and then he said he wouldn't let a dude on the back of it anyway, well my persistent nagging got me a ride after our graduation dinner.

Hi there,

Today I had to work from 0530 to 1400, we were really slow, not a whole lot of people were up and about, or if they were they weren't at work. Lisa was lucky she got the day off. Well we have started to pack as we will be flying home early Wednesday morning, we are both excited to see our families. So see you all soon, here are some more pics:

more pictures...

This is the church at the Marraige retreat we went to, the complex was beautiful.

On our day to just spend together that weekend we walked down by the ocean and we took a picture of this light house. It was cool because the site dated back to pre civil war, and there were plaques going over the history of the site.

This is all the food we ate at kyrstals

My buddy Ewer enjoying a tasty burger

This is Lisa's friend that jumped out of the box and started running around the kitchen (if it's not the exact lizard it is a cousin or something, they crawl all over the outside of the house)

Happy Friday!

Well today was somewhat boring... but here are the pictures I promised.

This is a picture of the US Customs house in downtown Charleston. A lot of cats seem to hang out on the grounds.

A nice passer by offered to take our picture but the camera wasn't set for night shot so picture turned out sorta bad. The best part was the guy didn't steal my camera, and for that I thank you passer by.

This is Lisa entering Krstal's for the first time ever. The burgers were ok, but no comparison to the Castle for which I love. I will give Krystal's the credit for being cleaner, better service, and offering free wireless internet but The Castle wins the taste test hands down.

They even bring your food out to you.

This is their logo on the side of the building... I think White Castle's is better.

I think the most pictures you can put in one post is 5, so until tomorrow good night.

Been Busy

Sorry all for the lack of updates.

Well I've been standing watch for the last couple of weeks, and well it isn't my favorite thing to do that is for sure. My typical day is as follows wake up around 0430 and get ready, get to work around 0520ish assume the watch. I typical like to stand MOW which is messenger of the watch, basically I stand at the front desk and make sure everyone stays quiet, scans in and out the building correctly, part of the team that runs security related drills, etc... I usually get off of work in the early afternoon, where I catch a ride home from the duty van (on base navy van) and play video games, sleep, eat lunch, clean, etc... until Lisa gets home from work around 1800ish.

So basically my life is pretty boring right now. I was supposed to go talk at spouse night tonight about or weekend retreat we had a couple of months ago, but I totally forgot. We just got word today that we have an accepted offer for selling our house back up there in Detroit and I've been busy trying to finish up some paper work. I feel really bad because the Chaplin was excited about Lisa and I coming to talk about it, :o(. Ah well I guess I will do the next one. Well here are some of the pictures that I've promised:

This is our Living room

This is our bathroom that I picked out. We have since replaced the shower rod with a real bamboo branch and it really looks nice.

This is our little dining area.

Again I am having issues uploading pictures so I will post more tomorrow I promise.

Wazz Up?!?

hello everybody. We are doin great down here! I'm going home in less than 2 weeks....I can't wait to see my younger sis graduate (we are proud if ya sues), she is gonna look so cute! Well my birthday was nice, Jay took me to dinner and bought me some jewelry! What I really need is an ALL NEW wardrobe, that is next on my list of things to acquire. Besides that, Tony is just so cute! I have never seen a cat that lays on its back so much, he will lay there like he wants you to pet him, but when you go to pet him he attacks your hand, not in a mean way...he just wants to play. He is so cute. I feel bad that he is home alone all day while Jay and I are gone, but I really doubt we will get another cat. Well...work is going alright for me, I'm learning new skills that will assist me in future jobs. I think I might go back to school once we sell the house, I would love to take art classes, we will see. well guys it was nice chatting...Bye
